The Director of Health Care Services/Town Nurse employed by the Board of Health, oversees all core functions of health care service within the Town of Westford. The Director plans, organizes and directs programs to ensure the protection of public health, control of disease and strengthening of the public health infrastructure as mandated by the Mass. General Laws. Her primary concerns are health promotion, disease prevention, health maintenance, policy development and assessment/coordination of health care services for the residents and town employees.
