New Ambulance Search Under Way
February 2007- A search for a new town Ambulance is currently under way. The new Ambulance will replace the first line Ambulance currently in use, which in turn will be used as the second Ambulance. Due in part to the increase in Emergency Medical calls, the third Ambulance will be moved to the George Rogers Station (Station 3) where it will be utilized as a reserve Ambulance in case of maintenance issues with the other two ambulances and will also be used during snow storms or other related type incidents. All the Ambulances are State Certified by the Department of Public Health and are inspected annually.
